Micromax India’s one of the leading mobile manufacturer has ultimately entered the low price tablet market by its new launch of a 7 inch tablet which runs on the android 4.o (ICS) OS called as the Micromax Funbook. Surprisingly the tablet is affordable at a price of Rs.6499 and is in the market to compete with the other cheap tablets which have already filled up the Indian market.

Design and working
It is designed in a simple and sleek manner and is available mainly in two different colors that are slate grey and midnight black. Its front panel consists of mainly 3 physical buttons for going to the menu, back or home. The branding logo of Micromax is displayed at the lower back-side of the tablet. The tablet also supports video calling and chatting and for this purpose a VGA camera is fitted on the top of the screen.
As the tablet has special and enhancing features like a speedy processor and RAM, it also has a high pixel density with a multi touch supported capacitive screen. But at the similar time, it also has certain negative aspects like a VGA camera which is low on clarity, the screen resolutions are low, and battery power doesn’t last long. The tablet doesn’t even support USB port. Such things bring in a different image of the tablet.
